Cazzato’s extra virgin olive oil is born from my true passion for the place where I was born, the ground where I belong and the extra virgin olive oil.
I grew up on the countryside, in Salento, on my grandfather's Rodolfo properties, watching our farmers working the ground following the seasons.
I played around the big olive trees surrounding my parents’ house, building tree houses and admiring their majesty.
I enjoyed eating fresh tomatoes directly from the plants, taking fennel from the ground and testing its juiciness … testing all the different flavors Salento can offer.
The best moment of the year was the time of the olive harvest, climbing the trees to the top and taking with my hands one by one the golden fruit of the secular olive trees.
The lunch breaks during the harvesting were happy moments, eating simple but tasty traditional dishes that after so many hours of hard work had even a better taste.
Cazzato’s extra virgin olive oil is the result of the secular work of generations of farmers, taking care of each olive tree, one by one, year after year.
With Cazzato’s extra virgin olive oil I want to share with you the fragrance of the pure extra virgin olive oil made with the secular passion trasmitted from generation to generation.
